Latest Finished Piece

It has been extremely busy around here in the last month so it's time to fill some of the empty spaces.
This ring is a beautiful piece of local agate, found as rough rock and cut and finished in my rock lab.
Here's how it looked at the start:


And here's what the final product looks like:


I set it in an adjustable, size #7 Amati silver plate bezel. The stone is 2 cmX 2cm. and has a beautiful clear section in the midst of some beautiful golden red plume patterning.

  1. Hi Peter, I drive past your place quite often...on my way to Gullivers or Whale cove for agates. A woman posted pics yesterday of some gorgeous agates, she said she found them in Digby. Do you happen to know where she went. Went to Queen St, Montague Row, and point prim beaches...nothing much
